On the afternoon of August 23, the Sports and Cultural Festival of the Southern expanded region’s Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) sector in 2024 took place at the College of Technology II – HVCT.

The traditional Sports and Cultural Festival of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) sector is organized annually to enhance health, promote exchange and learning among cadres, civil servants, and workers (CB-VC-NLĐ) in the sector, and concurrently to foster emulation and achieve success in celebration of the sector’s Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2024).
Deputy Minister of MOLISA, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hồi, attended and congratulated the Sports and Cultural Festival. Representing MOLISA were also the following delegates:
Mr. Phạm Anh Thắng – Deputy Chief of the Ministry’s Office, Chief Representative of the MOLISA Office in Ho Chi Minh City (Head of the Organizing Committee for the Sports and Cultural Festival);
Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Tây – Deputy Chief Representative of the Ministry’s Office in Ho Chi Minh City;
Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nga – Member of the Executive Committee of the MOLISA Trade Union…
Representing HVCT were:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Văn Hưng – Rector (Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee for the Sports and Cultural Festival); Dr. Trần Viết Phú – Chairman of the School Board; Dr. Bùi Văn Trí – Vice Rector… The Festival attracted hundreds of cadres, lecturers, and employees (CB-GV-NV) from 13 units under the Ministry. HVCT was honored to be the host unit for this year’s Sports and Cultural Festival.

The English translation of the text is: “Attending and speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hồi, highly praised the organization of the sports and cultural festival and the spirit of exchange and solidarity among the units. The Deputy Minister also expressed his hope that next year’s sports and cultural festival would see more units participating and more competitive events added, as this is an essential, healthy, and beneficial playground for the sector’s cadres, lecturers, and employees… Right on the afternoon of August 23, the units presented their cultural performances. The competitive sports events in this Festival (table tennis, wooden clog racing, sack racing, and tug-of-war) will take place on the morning of August 24, 2024.
